TOP TEN FAVORITE MEMORIES OF CHRISTMAS OF 2007

1. Looking at Timp, covered with a fresh coat of snow with the sun gazing down on it on Christmas morning.

2. Having the Brown's in town and feeling so loved and spoiled, especially Liv!

3. Bonding with nieces, nephews, and siblings that I never get to see!

4. Devouring a plethora of yummy treats such as candy canes, chocolate/marshmallow brownies, reindeer potter, and fudge.

5. Watching Liv enjoy her new Little People Nativity from Grandma Brown. It's her new favorite toy.

6. The picture says it all.

7. Spending time with my bomber man.

8. Enjoying a lovely night of reading, singing Christmas carols, violin playing, and eating on Christmas Eve.

9. This pedicure, courtesy of Momma Brown! Thanks again! I feel so pretty. :)

10. And of coarse all the poking and jostling with brothers.

FOUR

I almost forgot to post a picture today. I was sitting here with the four Brown boys, and as I was "enthusiastically" watching them play halo I remembered, "Ah I have something better to do, I still need to post a picture of Liv for the day". Thank you Pepper. Truly.

You know you're outnumbered by males when all you can hear is yelling such as "Uh! Reload! RELOAD! Stupid SMG gun!. . . Aaaah, Derek has 5 kills already COME ON GUYS!!", and when you walk in your bathroom only to find the toilet seat left up. Yea. The girls are back at Amber's cooking, and I'm in dire need of a little more estrogen around here! Anyway, here is Liv in her little beanie!

EIGHT days until Christmas. . .

I know what your thinking. This is just a terrible picture of a red ornament, and I promised you a picture of Liv. Not so. Look a little closer and you will find the gosling's face. :)

NINE days until Christmas.

Our little child prodigy:

Sorry about the bad quality, one day when we are rich and famous I won't have to use my phone camera as a cam recorder.
He Passed!

TEN Days until Christmas

For Pepper.

A Picture a Day until Christmas. Ten Days to go. . . :)

P.S. This picture was taken as she was gazing to the far off south west. She was thinking of her Auntie Peps and Uncle Archie. Notice the tear in her eye. I think you will be missed by one little grimlin this Christmas season!

Man of the Hour

Today was the day that Jaron defended his thesis. I've just gotten back from it, and I have to say he looked totally handsome and gave such a confident and well done presentation. It's been a few years that he has been working hard on his thesis, and he has been so dedicated and focused on his project. I admire what a hard a dedicated man that he is. This day was the culmination of it all, and he came off as conquerer! I'm so proud of you J! As I write this, Jaron is probablly as wet as a little clam and as pale as a sweet little marshmallow as he is presently now being scrutinized by his research committee. All- say a prayer in your hearts that they will show him a little TLC. We'll let you know the verdict!

The second picture is of Jaron and his thesis advisor, mentor, and exemplary professor, Roland Hotchkiss, to whom we owe much gratitude.

Thanksgiving Fun with the Brown's

It's Been such a great thanksgiving day. Jaron's little sister Chelice came down from Idaho to enjoy the festivities with the local Provoan's (i.e. Jaron, Liv, Me, Danny, and Amber). The girls spent the morning in the kitchen while the boys raked leaves outside. Jaron cooked the turkey and did a wonderful job at it.

3 hours of toil and grime and finally we have a plate of food that takes approximately ten minutes to enjoy, but it really is worth it! :) Happy Thanksgiving to all! I hope your holiday has been as good as ours. I feel so grateful for so many things in my life one of which is family and friends. Enjoy your holidays loved ones!

Because I love the Unkown. . .

Hey friends, family, loved ones, and curious browsers who happen upon our humble blog while following links,

(this is Jaron speaking by the by)

After several minutes of serious deliberation, we have chosen (out of three possible job offers) to go work for a company called nhc (lower case letter on purpose-check their site by following the link) aka Northwest Hydraulic Consultants. They, and soon I, do water resource engineering type of working, specifically specializing in the environmental/restoration kind of thing that is big in the northwest. If you really want to see what I'll be up to, check out the website and look at the "List of services" link on their site. They seem to be a very cool company, and best of all have told me they don't need me to start until February or so, so that leaves some post graduation time for traveling, lounging, and other activities. nhc is located in Renton, WA, a smallish town just outside Seattle, (hence the northwest in the name), so we'll be moving there sometime in January. There is a good chance we won't be living at the top of a hill, so we might have to change the blog name.

Question:

Isn't it a little early for this kind of behavior?

Lola, L. O. A- lay Lola!

I've known my my best friend Laura since I was six years old. Now she is almost 22 and I am 24. 18 years of friendship. That is pretty awesome. Anyway I just wanted to show her off a little. The link below takes you to a video of Laura singing her song that she composed and wrote all on her own. Not only is she an awesome pianist, but she's a great singer! She's so beautiful and talented! Here it is folks. Enjoy! Too bad the only people that will look at this blog are all married, because she is single and looking!

The recording is kind of a bad one, so I recommend hearing her live. It doesn't even compare.
