I had put Buster on the floor while I was cooking dinner and the next thing I know Liv has lifted him up on the couch and is snuggling with him. I love the sibling love.  

Reverently, quietly. . .

 

 

 

This is the closest that Warner gets to being reverent during Dad's spiritual thoughts for FHE on monday nights.

Chores

 

 

99% of the time Warner detests work. The 1% that he doesn't detest is the time that he spends putting the laundry from the washer into the dryer, or from the bin into the washer. It is his favorite chore. I think it's because he's sort of sentimental towards the clothing. He loves to look at each piece of clothing and excitedly label it as "Liv's!" or "Daddy's" or "Warner's!".

He's a man that likes to do laundry. One day his wife will thank me.

Sunny Day

Spray Spray little hosey. Wash that car, because that's the last time it will probably get washed all year long.

 

 

 

 

We have this glorious thing in our ward called "the have/need/want list". Thanks to that list we acquired this fun new toy this weekend. Now when they jump on their beds I can say "No, no kiddos, if you want to jump, go out there on that thing and burn some energy". I feel like an official family now that we have a trampoline, even if the springs are rusty.

Ahhhhh. I love the sun.

Easter Dinner with the Pettibones

The things I will never forget from Easter Sunday 2012:
-The great talk on the atonment the husband gave in church. It made me cry, and once again I was reminded of the goodness of the man I married.
-Jannah's delicious rolls, that I ate way too many of. 
-The good company.
-How happy the kids were to be playing together.
-The sunshine.
-The Easter egg hunt.
-The super cool pirate patches that the Easter Bunny put in the eggs.
-The moment when we were talking about the Savior and His last week on earth when Liv said "Mom, I feel really good inside". 

How was your Easter Sunday? 

No More Candy

 

The kids had such a fun time doing an Easter egg hunt at my cousin's house on Saturday. Instead of giving them loads of candy she bought them puzzles. I thought that was a great alternative to candy. I think next year I'm going to try not to do sugar. I think I almost poisoned my kids with Sugar on Easter Sunday, and I'm determined to not let that happen again.
