Theres Always Light at the End of the Tunnel

This first picture is a picture of my little Gracie girl in the hospital under the Bili lights. This is pretty much how she spent her first four days of life. . . in darkness, coming out only when she was really fussy, or if she was hungry. There were moments where I just wanted to run away with her and show her that the world really was a happy nice place, not just full of needle pricks and bright lights. The second picture is the moral of my story: there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Now Olivia is home with us and loving it! She is such a happy girl. She especially loves to stretch and kick her legs out. She loves when her Dad holds her, and when we run warm water over her hair at bath time. We love her so much! What a little miracle babies are. We feel so blessed.

Jess, thanks for posting these pictures. I love the one of Olivia at home and the cute look on her face. I bet you were so excited to hold her and take her home (and away from bili lights)!

You'll be so glad to have those early pics to look back on from the hospital. You've been through so much as a mom already!

I love our cute little Indian baby. That's a darling picture of her stretching in her nightgown.
