Do any of you have songs that make cycles getting stuck in your head every so often? Well I do, and the main source of these songs often comes from my favorite old time classic movie, The Sound of Music. Today while showering with Liv I began singing "A Few of My Favorite Things" which just so happened to be the stuck song of the day. And as I was singing as loud as I could and enjoying the echo that the shower was making of my voice, I thought of a few of changes that I might make to the song, here they are.Corn on the cob and sweet smelling barbeques
Rainbow slippers and Utah lake altitudes
Waffles with syrup and cream in the morning
These are a few of my favorite things!
Vaude baby carriers and glorious water falls
Grandma Popes house and hitting brand new tennis balls
Blogs that are witty and entertaining
These are a few of my favorite things!
When the baby poops
When the house is dirty
When I'm feeling grumpy
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so sad!

Ha! I loved your version of the song, Jess. Very fun and appropriate, indeed :)
And you say I'm a nerd?!! Just kidding. Very cute, Jess. I would've loved to hear the live version. You could put it on your phone, but then we'd all miss the soft tones of, "There you see her, sitting there across the bay..."
