Today as I was getting ready in my bathroom down stairs I heard some lovely music coming from an un-tuned guitar and my little sister Jenny's voice. As most of you know Jenny sings in a low opera voice and makes up words (which sometimes resemble a few primary songs/hymns mixed together). Well today I was cracking up because as she was softly strumming the highly out of tune guitar, she was singing the words "I am righteous. . . need to be. . . I am righteous. . . need to beeeeeee!!!".
It was beautiful. After she finished each song it was as if she was consulting with an invisible band she would say: "Nice job. Thats a wrap. Oh? One more. Ok, one more. Here we go" and then she would precede: "I am righteous. . . need to be. . .often go walking in meadows. . .I am righteous" in her low opera voice. Luckily for me this went on for about twenty minutes.
Then at the end of each song she would smile at her audience which probably in real life was thousands of angels and me inconspicuously peaking around the corner.

Jenny is the most wonderful girl I know! Give her a hug from me. I need to visit you guys. Sorry I didn't call while I was in town. I should have. I would have loved to see you. It was a really quick trip though Next time... for sure :)
Oh, my Babe!
Yes, that made me smile. Made my day in fact :)
Ha! Such classic Jenny. I think we're all in trouble if Jen needs to be righteous.
Jess, I love the new look of your blog. It looks fabulous! Very you.
Hey Jess, here is my address www.thejonesfam.blogspot.com
And I love your new webpage, where did you find it????
I just peed my pants laughing. Mostly because I could picture exactly what was going on based on your perfect description. I love Jenny.
Love it! One of my favorite Jenny singing moments was when the fam all sent me a tape of Birthday wishes and songs because I was at BYUH. The tape was silent for a while, and then I heard Jenn singing alone in that low voice of hers "happy birthday to you." It was the best!
Jessica, I know you posted this a while ago, but I just got the chance to read it. It brought laughter and tears of joy to me! We love and adore Jennifer. She has such a sweet spirit about her and it reminded Graham and I of a time that we caught Jen singing in her room too in that wonderful opera voice! Melts your heart! :)
