Liv's Birthday Festivities Documented

I asked Liv, "What do you want for you birthday?", and she said "A pink cake".  "What do you want to do for your birthday?", I asked. "I want to go to Dad's work".  "What do you want to do in the night for your birthday?", "I want to sleep in a tent with Dad".  Are you sensing favoritism here? Yes, in short she wanted Dad to be as much a part of her birthday as she could get.  So, here's how it actually went down: first there was lunch with Dad, then after he got home from work, a pizza dinner, a pink cake with some tricky candles, presents, and an indoor campout with Dad. Simple, but fun. And our new little 4 year old was quite happy.

What a doll! I love how these little girls love their dads so much!! I think the indoor camp out was a great idea. . . . happy belated birthday!

She is still so stinkin cute. I remember seeing her for the first time and thinking (knowing) she was the most beautiful baby in the world. Wow. I can't believe how short ago that feels. She is a little mini Jaron... So fun that you indulged all her birthday wishes. (PS Can I be super excited to see you this weekend? Is that allowed?)

Don't take it personally, Jess. After all, her dad is THE Jaron Brown.

Jess - I guess I haven't looked at detailed pictres of Liv in awhile - she is so grown up!! I think she looks a lot like Jarom - while Warner looks more like a Hoopes. It's so sweet to watch our family move forward another generation and see what follows with them.

PS - I'm jealous of your fireplace - looks amazing!
