You would think with the economic meltdown, the upcoming election for the most powerful position in the world, the war in Iraq, etc... the news would have enough material to make it through an hour with out resorting to this, but you'd be wrong. Apparently, none of the above are more important here in Seattle than yours truly swimming with a jellyfish. Too bad my 5 minutes of fame are marred by the goofy commentary. That and my awkward hand flapping.

Hey I am so jealous! how fun is that! and ya, how dare those newscasters be so cheeseball during your moment. pshaw! Way to be in the limelight. =o)
Wait...that's you - Jaron? Too bad you didn't get any name recognition. I'm sure agents would have been calling. Not everyone can pull off wet suit diving in such fine form :)
so cool. how cold is that water there?
The puget sound varies from mid 50's in the summer to high 40's in the winter. It was 54 at the surface, perhaps a few degrees cooler down below. Most guys wear dry suits. I have a THICK 6/5/4 wettie though.
Well geez, I wanted them to say your name! That is super cool though. Wow.
That is sooo cool! Can I claim I have a semi-famous cousin? Wow! To see sealife like that must be amazing!
