THE TERRIBLE TWO's ARE UPON US

"Help! Help! I'm being oppressed!"

Here are some of the things Olivia has taken up of late:

-Screaming for no reason at all
-Fighting everything, everyday, all day, from something as simple as getting a diaper change to putting on shoes.
-Hitting
-Spitting
-Drawing on furniture
-Not going to bed
-Staying up at night
-Throwing her food (we've reverted back to 6 month old behavior)
- Wanting one more book, one more song, for hours on end
- Did i mention staying up at night?

I still love you little one, but Please Please Please get this out of your system before February 26th!

I'm so tired. . . I think I'll go to bed now, oh wait I can't because Olivia has learned how to turn the light on in her room, and is still in there crying for her blanket which is right next to her arm. I've already been in four times to turn off the light. I tried taping it, but she kindly removed my tape job.

Night Night. Sweet Dreams. If you get to have any.

Oh Jessica. Sorry to say this is only the beginning. Good thing she is so cute huh.

Oh the glories to know that other mothers enjoy the same fun that every other mother gets to have! She has the cutest face! Good luck with her, just try not to potty train her anytime soon! And buy lots of magic erasers.

Kate was walking down the hall the other day with a pen, just marking her track!

When my little guy wouldn't go to sleep at night, I locked him in his room and let him fall asleep at the door. Then a few hours later we would gently move him to his bed.

There was also a time where he had many, many time outs and no treats. Good luck with Olivia.

Oh Jess, I feel for you! You must have caught it from us over the internet. Sorry! I used to have trouble with Everett and diaper changes, but now he likes to lay down on Ashley's play mat because it has animals on it he can choose from. . .maybe you could do something similar?

But I'm sure Liv loves you and respects you and knows you're the boss. Keep up the good work with this adorable one, and I'm excited to see the next Baby Brown.

I'm sorry. It's so stressful. Especially when you find yourself being COMPLETELY annoyed by the person you love the most. Ethan did this a month before Evan was born. And for about two weeks after. Then it faded. I'm sure the same thing will happen with you. She probably senses a change coming. Just take a deep breath and pray ALOT! :)

Spitting is the WORST!! We went through an episode with James over that one. I'm so glad it passed.

Man! I've been there (four times!) and am still going through some of it. As for the light switch thing, at night, I've had to unscrew lightbulbs! Give it a try. Hang in there, Jess!
