Yes that is my beautiful mother who is in town for the week helping me to take care of the domestic things in life. She and Jen flew in on Tuesday and unfortunately for me they leave again this Tuesday. Wow, its gone by fast! It seems that even with the two of us working together we still have had our hands full.
I'm so grateful for mothers. I don't know what I'd do without mine. I have to make it one week on my own and then my mother-in-law is flying out here. Hopefully we will all be in one piece by the time she gets here! Yesterday Olivia poked me in the eye and impaired my vision for a whole day. The day before that she bit Warner, and today Jenny showed me some bite marks on her arm as well. I think Liv is feeling a little emotional to say the least.
I'm so grateful for the help my mom has given me and it has been so fun to have her and Jen here. We have eaten such good food, Olivia has been well taken care of, and I have been able to get lots of sleep by napping in the day time since Warner likes to be awake every two hours at night. Thank you Mom and Jen for taking care of me, and thank you David for lending me Mom for a whole week. I know it was a major sacrifice!

My Dad says that Olivia is the most photographed kid in the world. I'm going to try to break a new record with Warner, so, today I took some shots to get him started. We'll see where we're at in two years. :)

Sweet, sweet, baby. I'm so glad that Mom and Jenn are there. It makes having a baby that much sweeter when you know you have trip from those two coming. Wish I were there, too though. Loved filling in for Mom when Liv was born. And don't worry-Liv is just in a phase. It will pass before you know it. My advice for the day--super-hype-up and emphasize the good she is doing. As much as you can, ignore the naughty. She's just seeking attention. Let her get it from being good and helping you and giving kisses and hugs. There's my .02! Love you little Brown Family!

poor liv, her world just got rocked and she doesn't know what to do! velz went on a hair pulling spree when ivy was born. i am sure she will warm up soon!

Good advice from a wise big sister, Kelly. I have to say that is wonderful to be here, to be able to hold precious Warner, and read to Olivia, and see Jess and Jaron as the wonderful parents that they are. We are all blessed, aren't we?

Yay!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!! I have been anxiously awaiting the time that I could get home and get on your blog to see your beautiful baby boy! (We've been gone for two weeks!) He is so handsome. Wow. But no surprise since Liv is so gorgeous. I'm glad that everything went so wonderful! That's so great! Glad you have so much support and help. You need it with two little ones! Jess - I just love that you named him Warner. I love that! And Greg and I agree - he looks like Jaron.
Try your best to keep him away from those enviornmental fanatics up there for as long possible. :)
Trust me it was no sacrifice, although I did miss David. It's hard being away from those sweet kids. It's especially hard leaving little Warner because he'll be so changed next time I see him.
Wow! I see so much of Jaron in him! That is so nice that your mom and sister were able to come down! Sad that they had to leave though =o(
