Gluttony

Warner- looking for his basket and looking a bit discouraged.

Definition of Gluttony- derived from the latin gluttire meaning to gulp down or swallow, means over-indulgence and over-consumption of food.

Lets think, or should I not? Ok I will. I am and I'm confessing it, or shall I just let my figure confess it?

Mini Cadbury eggs

Sugar cookies with Anise flavored frosting (I'de post a picture of them, as I usually do, but they are all gone eh hem)

Thumb print cookies with Anise flavored frosting (don't knock it til you've tried it)

Fried turkey

Mashed potatoes with one whole stick of butter plus heavy whipping cream mixed in

Lemon Curd trifle with heavy whipping cream on top.

Um,

Lets just say

its a darn good thing my PiYo class starts tomorrow.

Your kids are so cute- Liv's smile is priceless. Abby said she wants to play with Warner. By the way caloric intake is not in affect on holidays- gluttony is what it is all about.

I hope you enjoy the book thief- we read it for my book club a few months ago and I thought it was a good read. New favorite was The Help by Kathryn Stockett recommended by Brooke.

that sounds soooo delicious. we were feeling the same way, physically and spiritually. i don't mind that conference and easter were on the same weekend this year. :)
AND those pictures of the kids with their baskets are great--warner's is especially priceless.

Looks like you had a great Easter, don't worry I was probably worse on Easter! WE love butter and whipping cream at my moms house. So my sister tells me that at the end of the day she can tell what kind of a mother she has been. Either her house is spotless and she hasn't played with her kids at all, or her house is a mess and she was a great mom that say. So for me and my family clean house does not always mean happy family. --I do try to keep thing sanitary at least!
