Violins are neat, knowing how to play them is neater

As the man of the house, I seldomly take the time to post something, since Jess usually does such a good job documenting the goings-on at our house. In fact, this, I believe is my third post. The first one being when I played basketball with the boys from the Arcade Fire and the second being a picture I took of the moon one night. The following, however, makes a man more happy than any number of basketball games with semi-famous people and more proud than capturing the moon and its craters: Jess and Liv performed in a violin recital this evening and both did splendidly. See for yourself:

Liv's performance was adorable and your performance was amazing. Way to go, serious skills that I am jealous over. And way to go to Jaron for posting this! Round of applause for all, even Warner, just because he is cute!

This is one of the nicest things I have seen. It is so fun to be a part of the performance from long distance. Thank you for that magnificent performance, Jess and Olivia, and for posting it, Jaron. I just makes me smile and smile. Love you all. Mama Brown

Way to go Brown Girls! The only thing better would be if I could live close and attend those cute recitals in person. One can dream....

To Taryn- I cut my hair in Jan, because I had a rat tail. It had to go.

Thank you for your compliments. It was a fun night!

That's my girl. I'm so glad that you are studying violin again and that you are taking the time to help Olivia learn. It takes amazing commitment and patience. Bless you for it. Were you nervous for your recital? How many songs did you play?
Love,
Mom

That is so great. Jess, it's fun to hear and see you play--you're great! And to see Liv is following in your footsteps. And that might be the cutest performance ever.
