Buster

Here is what happened when I pulled out my camera to snap a picture of Buster.

He spotted me.
He happily walked towards me. . . .

until he was close enough for me to squeeze him.
I love this boy. I don't post nearly enough about that fact. He has been an angel child. Yes its true that he has been known to squeal like a pterodactyl and break eardrums at church, but aside from his constantly emptying the dishwasher or throwing toys in while I'm loading in it, or playing in the toilet, or throwing his food on the floor when he is done eating, he's absolutely perfect. Actually those things make me love him more, because I know he's just doing what one year old's do, and its perfectly normal.

When we go places he is so quiet and content looking out the window that I almost forget he is there. He is so happy playing by himself, that I almost get sad, "Doesn't he need me more?".  He sleeps like a champ, eats like a champ, and lets me squish his thighs whenever I want to.  Everyday with this boy is a good day. I'm so grateful that he is in our family.

I love how he toddles around.

I love how he catches people unawares in stores and other places by staring at them for awhile and then saying with a smile "Iyee" (hi).

I love how he sings while Liv ispracticing her violin or in church during hymns. He sounds a little tone deaf for the most part, but at least he's trying. :)

I love how excited he gets to get in the bath.

I love how he starts doing something naughty like, playing in the toilet or digging his hands into my vegetable garden, and then says "Dododo" for "don't".

He loves to tease Warner, and I can often see them hanging out in the same space. Often Buster will walk up to Warner just behind his head and say "Iyee".  Sometimes it scares Warner, and then I laugh.

I love how he dances when he hears music.

I love feeding him treats, because his little face is worth the sugar content going in his body.

I love how he still chants "Apee. Appee" (for happy. happy).  I would say if Buster had any theme for his life right now it would be "apee", because that is exactly what he is. simply happy and content to be alive.
